Activities in Brief

Manufacturing Technology Centers are designed to help private sector Egyptian companies upgrade and modernize their technology to achieve a more competitive edge in the local and global markets. MTC specialists conduct needs assessments of clients' business objectives, management systems, production processes and market (domestic and international) requirements. MTC advisors then carry out sourcing for appropriate materials, equipment, training and other technology resources. Clients are then provided business connections and on-going assistance to adapt and continually evaluate their business technology in order to maintain competitiveness. The MTC program is managed by the International Executive Service Corps (IESC) and can access IESC's data and technical assistance resources.
