Activities in Brief

The Centers for Quality Assurance were established to assist private sector Egyptian firms in enhancing their quality systems to make them more competitive in the global market. CQAs help companies implement quality assurance systems to operate with customer satisfaction as the goal and to address systematically means to improve product quality. CQA staff members prepare diagnostic assessments to evaluate clients' current quality assurance systems, design strategies to bridge the gap between the current systems to clients' quality goals, assist with quality documentation, present workshops on quality assurance, and offer assistance in selecting a body to provide ISO 9000 certification. The CQA program is managed by the International Executive Service Corps (IESC) and can access IESC's data and technical assistance resources.
