The Global Technology Network (GTN) is a new GTG project seeking to increase private sector competitiveness by matching technological needs of Egyptian companies with American suppliers. The project focuses on sectors where private sector technology is most likely to have a positive impact on economic growth and export activity, including information technology, agriculture, health, energy and environment. GTN provides similar assistance to Egyptian firms interested in launching new US franchises (food and nonfood) in Egypt.

• Link Egyptian businesses with US suppliers.
• Open new markets for Egyptian businesses.
• Strengthen US/Egyptian trade ties.

• Match the technological needs and franchise needs of Egyptian companies with American suppliers and provide follow up assistance (e.g., information about possible sources of finance), if necessary.
